1. Summary in My Own Words
After reading about the Wikipedia Sandbox feature, talk messages, and why Wikipedia exists, I learned that Wikipedia is a website where people work together to share information. The Sandbox is a practice area where users can test editing without changing real articles. Talk pages are used for communication between editors, such as asking questions or discussing changes. Wikipedia also focuses on teamwork, reliable sources, and sharing knowledge freely with everyone.
2. New or Interesting Things I Learned
One interesting thing I learned is that Wikipedia has a Sandbox for practice. I did not know users could try editing safely before working on real pages. I also found it interesting that editors leave messages for each other on talk pages, almost like social media comments. Another surprising point is that Wikipedia is created mostly by volunteers from around the world, not just experts.
3. Questions or Points Worth Discussing
One question I have is how Wikipedia makes sure information is correct if anyone can edit it. Sometimes people may add wrong or biased information. I also wonder if new users find Wikipedia difficult because there are many rules and editing steps. Another discussion point is whether all topics on Wikipedia receive equal attention, since popular topics may have more editors than smaller subjects.
